Ding Quarry

In 1995 Ding Quarry was defined as a dormant quarry and in order to gain live planning permission the quarry operator has to submit full modern working conditions, which include environmental impact measures to maintain quality of water, noise, access issues and other fundamental issues in relation to the quarry activities.

Currently there is no progress made by the quarry operator to implement these.

Ding Quarry is situated towards the top of Rooley Moor Road, and situated close to the east of Scout Moor wind farms.
