Common Land
Common land comprises of ten commons, which have commoner's statutory grazing rights.
Ding Quarry
In 1995 Ding Quarry was defined as a dormant quarry and in order to gain live planning permission, a quarry was submitted.
Telecoms
There are currently 2 tele-communication masts on the Manor's land.
Wind Farms
The lord of the manor is one of the landlords associated with the current 26 wind turbines in the North West.
UU Catchment Land
United utilites use the Manor's land to fill local resevoirs.
